Description
1) High overload capacity:
The industrial class intelligent power modules (IPM) used in EDB servo drives is one class higher in capability than in general specified servo products of the same category and same power, so they have higher overload capability, higher capability of disturbance rejection and larger startup torques. All the EDB servo drives are generally 3 times overload capacity when running below 1.5KW and two and a half times overload capacity when running above 2KW.

2) Quick response:
With its AUTO Disturbance Rejection Controller function and speed observation control function, the EDB servo drives has better dynamic features and stability than those with traditional PI control technology. The drives also have the following features: Shorter adjusting time for step signals. Smaller overshoot adjustment. Restore to stable status much faster in case of a sudden load. Smaller speed variation by a discontinuous load. Good performance of disturbance rejection, robustness and adaptivity.

3) Communication with PC:
With special PC software available, the following functions can be achieved:
Parameter management: Operations to all parameters such as editing, transmission, comparison and initialization can be done conveniently and efficiently.
Monitoring: Real time monitoring of all I/O signals, current alarm and history records, system status, etc.,
Real time sampling: Real time sampling curves of speed and torques, so that adjusting and analyzing can be made easily.
Adjusting: Gain/increment of the servo drives can be adjusted very fast, and simple testing are possible when there is no positive or speed indication.

4) Single axis positioning function:
32 built-in programmable positioning can achieve single axis positioning function. The EDB servo drive can communicate with a touch screen via the RS-232 interface on the servo drive, therefore, the PLC unit cost is saved. User may edit directly in the touch screen each node's position, speed, accelerated time and decelerated time, latency time, start point and stop point, and may also transmit the edition to the servo drive via the RS-232 interface. Besides, user may select to program absolute value or incremental value, select cycle run or not, user may use searching reference point function and sent the going and return speed for reference point searching, moreover, user may use an external signal to change steps. User may also develop their own applications to meet different demands and to apply to different occasions.
