String Wound Filters

STRING WOUND , a string wound type, graded density filter cartridge. Cartridges are manufactured with an interlocking diagonally wound method which provides longer service life and contributes to save the cost.

Wound depth cartridge offers such a graded pore structure that larger particles are trapped at the surface of the cartridges and smaller particles are removed near the center of the filter. Particles are captured as they move through the tortuous pathways, created by the wound fiber of the filter media. This construction provides highly efficient particles removal of wide range of particles size and high dirt holding capacity. This type of removal is referred to as clarification filtration.

STRING WOUND cartridges are available with diverse types of filter media and core. The cartridge can be used as liquid, gas and chemical solutions. The benefits of Resin02 are inexpensive, broad chemical compatibility, numerous material option, high dirt holding capacity and no fiber migration.

STRING WOUND cartridges are constructed of polypropylene or cotton (FDA grade) over polypropylene, tin steel and stainless steel core. The cartridge is manufactured free of all surfactants, bindres and adhesives to minimize extractables.
